Chateau Gassier's 40 hectares (100 acres) of wind and sun stroked vines flourish at the foot of mount Sainte-Victoire at a few kilometres from Aix en Provence.
Wines produced here are of incredible quality and hugely elegant.
It's a magic place which has inspired a number of artists including the famous Paul Cézanne; it's also the cradle of the Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire AOC appellation.
Which is why the fame of this "magic mountain" has spread out far beyond its boundaries.
